Position Summary
We are Vision Group, a European leader in contact lens retail, and we are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative team. Reporting to the Head of Finance & HR, with a dotted line to the CEO, you will translate business goals into HR action, managing the daily People / HR function across multiple European locations, including Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Lithuania. You will drive the implementation of initiatives that make the company a great place to work, help foster a strong, values-based culture, ensure operational excellence, and serve as a vital link between leadership and our international staff to support our growth as a leader in contact lens retail and our vision: Leading optimal experiences with contact lenses across Europe.
Your mission
HR Operations & Team Management:
Manage and mentor a dedicated team of HR Generalists in Switzerland, Belgium, France, Italy, and Lithuania, ensuring high-quality HR service delivery and professional development.
Execute HR initiatives, including compensation, benefits and workforce planning in alignment with the strategy set by the Head of Finance & HR.
Maintain a "sleeves-up" approach by providing active coverage for HR Generalists during absences or peak periods, such as payroll coordination with external partners and managing day-to-day HR service delivery.
Implement effective HR policies and efficient workflows - from onboarding and offboarding to performance reviews - ensuring a consistent and positive "Vision Group Experience" across all entities.
Culture, Engagement & OD Execution:
In collaboration with the CEO, champion and support a strong, values-based culture across the organization. Implement initiatives that embed Vision Group’s values into the daily employee experience and drive high levels of employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Execute regular employee satisfaction surveys, present survey results with actionable insights to the leadership team and help translate feedback into concrete improvements.
Support Organizational Development (OD) through change management and learning & development programs.
After recent acquisitions, provide HR integration support of newly acquired entities.
Provide coaching and advice on employee relations to help resolve conflicts and handle sensitive performance-related cases to maintain a high-performance culture.
