Your mission

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day financial accounting of the companies in Switzerland, as well as supporting the financial accounting team in Germany

  • Reconciliation of accounts, maintenance of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, and analysis of discrepancies

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Ensuring the correct posting of all business transactions

  • Collaborating on budget and forecast processes

  • Providing support during audits and acting as the point of contact for external partners

  • Optimising and further developing financial processes and internal controls

  • Providing support for projects in finance and accounting

Your profile

  • Commercial apprenticeship and a professional certificate in finance, accounting or a comparable qualification

  • Further training in financial accounting would be an advantage

  • Several years’ professional experience in accounting

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. Swiss Code of Obligations, IFRS or US GAAP)

  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Abacus)

  • Analytical mind and structured approach to work

  • Independent, reliable and solution-oriented personality

  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of French would be an advantage
